Please join AARP Texas, the Montrose Center, and SAGE’s National Resource Center on LGBT Aging for a dynamic presentation on the culture, needs, and concerns of LGBT older adults.
Through a combination of group activities, personal reflection, and discussion, we will consider why LGBT older adults are less likely to access health and social services and learn the best practices for helping LGBT older adults to feel more included in aging network organizations. This training will be facilitated by SAGE’s Manager of Education and Training Tim R. Johnston, PhD.
Social Work CEUs will be offered.
