Media Communications Intern – Women’s Health Outreach + Education Division

The Montrose Center is accepting applications for a media communications intern to assist our Women’s Health Outreach and Education programs. The intern will be expected to maintain a set schedule of 10+ hours and complete scheduled assignments on a weekly basis, including development of program newsletters, event media, and online advocacy tools.

A qualified candidate will have flexible availability, including daytime and early evening hours. The candidate should be comfortable utilizing computer systems and social media tools. Personal access to media design suites is an asset but is not required for consideration.

We are seeking two candidates.

 

Outreach Intern – Women’s Health Outreach + Education Division

The Montrose Center is accepting applications for an outreach interns to assist our Women’s Health Outreach and Education programs.  The intern will be expected to maintain a set schedule of 10+ hours and complete scheduled assignments on a weekly basis, including program material distribution, and event tabling.

A qualified candidate will have flexible availability, including daytime and early evening hours. The candidate should be comfortable utilizing computer systems and speaking in a community setting on behalf of women’s programming at the Montrose Center. Spanish language skills are an asset but are not required for consideration.

We are seeking two candidates.

 

ACA Navigator – Intern or Volunteer

The Montrose Center is accepting applications for an intern / volunteer Health Navigator to assist with client coverage assessment, enrollment, and outreach during Marketplace Open Enrollment 2017.  The navigator will complete and receive certification through the State of Texas and the federal government, with the certification fee paid by the Center.  Navigator will be expected to complete certification trainings prior to November 1, 2017 maintain a set schedule of 12+ hours and client appointments weekly through December 2017.

A qualified candidate will have flexible availability, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours.  The candidate should be comfortable utilizing computer systems and working with clients from diverse backgrounds. Spanish language skills are an asset, but not necessary for consideration.
