Whether you identify as transgender, genderqueer, gender fluid, gender nonconforming, bigender, intersex, or are simply questioning the gender to which you have been assigned, the Montrose Center welcomes you! Following are services we offer that you may find helpful, no matter what stage of discovery or transition you are in.
*You also may be eligible to see a qualified clinical student intern as a lower cost option. All interns are master’s-level students in accredited Social Work, Professional Counseling or Counseling Psychology programs and are supervised by licensed therapists.
Trans*Fabulous Support Group – Wednesdays at 7:00pm
This peer support group is where transgender and gender nonconforming community members can find an affirming space to share experiences, build a support network, ask questions, and create community ties within the safe and friendly setting at the Montrose Center. You must be 18 or older to attend this group. This group is free and open to the public.
Transgender Youth Support Group – Tuesdays 6:00pm
Part of our Hatch Youth program, this confidential peer support group is for youth ages 13-20 with challenges or issues relating to birth gender and gender identity/orientation. The direction of discussion will be determined by the group members each week, and they will have the opportunity to share and participate at the level at which they feel comfortable.
