WEATHER NOTICE – Jun 16 & 17

Update 6/17, 8am: A few Cultural Center events remain cancelled today (see Calendar); however, the Center is open for business and all services have resumed according to normal schedules.

6/16: The Montrose Center will remain open during Tropical Storm Bill with the following exceptions:

  • The reception desk will close at 5:00 pm on Tuesday 6/16, resuming regular business hours on Wednesday 6/17 at 8am.
  • Hatch Youth has been cancelled for the evening of Tuesday 6/16.
  • If you are a client with an individual/group therapy or case management appointment scheduled for Tuesday 6/16 or Wednesday 6/17, please contact your therapist or case manager to determine the status of your appointment.
  • The Cultural Center will remain open for scheduled meetings and events; however, cancellations are anticipated. Check the Calendar for updates and cancellations.
  • The Equal Grounds Café will be closed Tuesday evening, resuming regular hours on Wednesday 6/17.

Your safety is our primary concern. Please do not attempt to commute to the Center if weather, road or traffic conditions pose a danger. As of midday 6/16, flood and severe weather advisories are in effect for the entire Houston area, and street flooding is likely in portions of the city as the storm passes through.
