The Montrose Center’s top donors and friends were invited to help open B.B. Lemon’s newest location at 4319 Montrose Boulevard!. B.B. Lemon is the latest concept from Houston restaurant scene giant and savvy restaurateur, Benjamin Berg of B&B Butchers.
Members of the Montrose Center’s donor society had the opportunity to check out this new addition to the Montrose culinary universe with a festive Beach Bash + Drag Brunch including an open bar, brunch bites, tunes by DJ Ramalama and great drag performances by Blackberri, Barbara Coa, and Porter Bella Graves.
In 2018, Benjamin opened B.B. Lemon, a pocket-size tavern across the street from B&B Butchers. Fashioned after preppy Manhattan saloons such as P.J. Clarke’s and J.G. Melon, it quickly became a go-to spot for upscale but un-fancy cheeseburgers and boozy cocktails. The Montrose location has even more of this signature marriage between food and ambiance and the cocktails are incredible.
Wearing their best beach brunch attire and entering the location decorated for a tiki bash more than 120 guests had the chance to break in this new spot in style. We are grateful to be included in the opening of this new location where 100% of the proceeds went to the Montrose Center’s mission to empower LGBTQ Houston. We suggest you check out B.B.
