Join us on Thursday, January 26th at 6:30 p.m. in the GLBT Cultural Center for the Houston premiere of GenSilent — a critically-acclaimed documentary from filmmaker Stu Maddux (Bob and Jack’s 52-Year Adventure, Trip to Hell and Back) that follows six GLBT seniors in their struggle to survive in the care system. It puts a face on what experts in the film call an epidemic: GLBT older people so afraid of discrimination by caregivers or bullying by other seniors that many simply go back into the closet.
