Veterans

getting startedProviding LGBTQ focused counseling and case management services to active duty military, veterans (including the reserves/guard) and their family members.
We also encourage veterans to join the Combined Arms LGBTQ Veterans Group. This group creates social events in safe environments for LGBTQ Veterans to connect and interact, and they are committed to working with the VA, Montrose Center, and any other resources for a broader reach in the
LGBTQ community.
In addition, you may also want to look at our Peer Groups under Center Wellness.
Consider filling out our survey to help us find ways to better serve the veteran community.

Resources offered to veterans:

  • Mental Health Services
  • Affordable Housing Search
  • Substance Use Treatment
  • Connecting to Medical Care & Benefits
  • Service Linkage
  • and more!

How much does it cost?

We work with what you have. The Center accepts all insurance, including Medicare/Medicaid. Discounted fees are offered if you have no insurance and/or limited means. You may also qualify for grant subsidies to cover all or a portion of fees and co-payments based on your income. The bottom line is this:  Cost does not have to be a barrier to getting the care you need!  Talk to us before making that decision.
